.
About MeHi! I am Mrs. Morrison, and I am super excited to work with each of you this year. I will be teaching biology, chemistry, and the transitions class. I just wanted to give you a little information about my background. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor's degree in biology and a group science minor. I taught high school for six years at a private school. I started my family and took a brief break from teaching. After the birth of my son, I went back to school at Eastern Michigan University to obtain a Master's degree in biology. After the birth of my daughter, I became an adjunct professor at Washtenaw Community College, and, then, later Schoolcraft College as well. I have been teaching at the community college level for nine years.
I love teaching students science. I love the life sciences and have a passion for teaching students biology and anatomy & physiology. I also like to do creative things like re-purposing old furniture, making mosaics, and attempting stained glass. |
Family Life |
My husband and I are high school sweethearts. We live in Ypsilanti and have two children, Luke and Veronica, and a cat named Rosie. We rescued my cat from the animal shelter in January. My family loves to camp, bike ride, go boating, visit museums, and play outside together.
